Prince George’s County Police is not being seen in a good light, due to the actions of one of their officers. Vanessa Edwards-Hamm, PG County police officer, has been indicted in the District of Columbia. Along with dozens of others, Edwards-Hamm is being charged with tampering with evidence in a broad drug-dealing investigation.
Vanessa Edwards-Hamm, tampered with the investigation by tipping off a person about a wiretap; yesterday was her first federal court appearance. Local and federal authorities were working on the drug-dealing investigation together, targeting a drug-dealing network that sold heroin, cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills throughout the region.
