Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority is always working.
If you are riding the metro through the city this weekend, then this information will be helpful. DC is always working to prove their metro rail system, and with these improvements come closings at some stations.
Starting Friday, July 12th at 10 PM through Sunday, July 14th at closing, there will be shuttle buses to replace trains on the Red Line between Silver Spring and NoMa-Gallaudet U.
There will also be single tracking between McPherson Square and Smithsonian on the Orange and Blue line.
Because track work will be done this weekend, please be mindful so destinations can be reached, and plans plans kept.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!
