TikTok Says It’s Planning To Shut Down By Jan. 19 In The U.S.
With similar entertainment cultures, The US and The UK have a lot in common and despite the distance, relate to each other with apps like TikTok. Laughs, dances, foods, products, beauty tips, fashion, history, travel tips and more are shared via TikTok between users in America and the world. As said by many, Americans and more more specifically, Black Americans are the trend setters of the world and it will be sad scrolling if the ban really goes through.
A Breakdown Of What The US TikTok Ban Really Means
There are a few celebrities who have showed interest in purchasing the app so it can stay in America, like Elon Musk and Mr. Beast, but we’ve already seen the negative changes of Musk’s buy on twitter so wouldn’t want that to also happen with TikTok. Also a lot of users are worried this ban could spread to other countries. Hopefully not but we’ll have to wait and see.
