Also joining this historic mission are some incredible women making strides in their fields. Emmy-winning journalist and pilot Lauren Sanchez, who is also Bezos’ partner, will lead the mission. She’ll be joined by Amanda Nguyen, a Nobel Peace Prize-nominated activist and space enthusiast, and Kerianne Flynn, a filmmaker and nonprofit advocate, each one an inspiring force in her own right.
This groundbreaking flight builds on the Blue Origin legacy, which has previously carried big names to space, including Amazon’s own Bezos, legendary Star Trek actor William Shatner, former NFL player and Super Bowl Champion Michael Strahan, and other notable adventurers.
