A recent study by iSharing analyzed 65 U.S. cities to identify the most dangerous for children, based on crime rates, gun violence, education, and child poverty. Washington, D.C., scored 50.76, landing it in 9th place.

While the city boasts the highest median household income in the top 10, child poverty remains at 17%, with alarming rates of gun violence (27.8 incidents per capita) and missing persons cases (7.41 per capita).
