Metro Set To Open Silver Line To Tysons Corner (Video)
Metro officials announced this week that rail service on the new silver line will begin on July 26, 2014. The line runs through Tysons Corner from Reston to Falls Church on a route paralleling the Dulles Toll Road. Preliminary work has begun on a second phase that will extend the line to Dulles International Airport. Phase II is projected to open in 2018. Along with the announcement, Metro released new commercials that promote the silver line.
