Angie Martinez Signs With Clear Channel

Angie Martinez Moves On

The rumors were true. Radio legend Angie Martinez has moved on from Hot 97 after 20-years of service and officially signed with rival station Power 105.1. “The Voice of New York” resigned from Emmis Communications and joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the home of “The Breakfast Club,” where she will reign over her midday competition and on 103.5 The Beat in Miami.

“Angie is the Queen of New York City radio ­ she is an incredible talent who continues to blaze trails and we are excited to have her join the team at Power 105.1 and The Beat in Miami,” said Thea Mitchem, Senior Vice President of Programming ­ Major Markets, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in a press release.  “Angie has a long, successful history and we look forward to expanding her distinctive style and compelling content to more of our listeners.”

“I want to thank, Thea Mitchem, Tom Poleman and Doc Wynter for this incredible opportunity,” said Martinez.  “I¹m excited to join Power 105.1 in New York and The Beat in Miami and expand my brand even further in the coming months.”

Are we the only ones who think this is a little shady boots? That or they must have paid her a whole hell of a lot of money…

Karrueche Tran must have proved her “Loyalty” to Chris Brown while he was in jail because Breezy is totally claiming her on Instagram (so you know it’s real).

Chris and Karrueche posed for a picture in the studio and it’s clear that the two have been pretty cuddled up ever since his welcome home party. He even captioned the photo, “She a real one!” OOP!

Was he being shady boots toward Rihanna? Or was he just stating that hie woman isn’t the type of chick he sings about in his songs…

“Think Like A Man Too” Star Likens His Co-Star To “Broke Back Mountain”

With “Think Like A Man Too” in theaters tomorrow, promotion for the funny film has totally ramped up. Kevin Hart, Gary Owen, Terrence J, Romany Malco, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart and Jerry Ferrara visited “Good Morning America” to bring an exclusive clip from the movie.

Things took a turn for odd when Robin Roberts, GMA host, asked Gary about his co-star and wife in the film, who happens to be white (unlike his wife in real life who is Black). He likened the experience of the unknown to “Broke Back Mountain.” Uhm…

Kevin and the rest of the boys erupted with laughter. “I’m used to a color contrast in the bedroom,” Gary said in an attempt to clarify what he meant. “Maybe it wasn’t the best analogy. Sorry.”

In related news, Michael Ealy hit up “The Wendy Williams Show” and was welcomed by the audience with the kind of applause that screams, take me now. The hot actor dished on his private life and how he keeps it so private…

“It’s not really that hard. I don’t live my life in that way. I don’t live my life in the social way. I don’t put everything out on social media. At the same time, I’ve always been private ever since I was in high school. I learned then if you want something to work, if it means that much to you, keep it to yourself.”

Lady Gaga & R. Kelly’s “Do What U Want” Video Is Seriously Creepy

We’re fans of Lady Gaga and R. Kelly’s song “Do What U Want,” but the visuals to the upbeat jam are just plain horrible and we’re not the only ones who think so…apparently, the entire video was scrapped (and it’s pretty clear why).

R. Kelly is a doctor and Gaga is his patient. If that wasn’t yucky enough, Gaga is laying on the operating table while R. Kelly fondles under the cloth covering her naked body. “How’s that feel?,” he asks and Gaga moans.

“The medicine started to kick in,” he adds and Gaga lays back, under anesthesia (we think) and the party begins while she is asleep…because, duh, you can do what you want with her body. Pretty rapey.

To take things to an even creepier level, famed photographer Terry Richardson was shooting the she-bang. Richardson is facing sexual predator allegations and if you aren’t familiar with R. Kelly, he is an alleged child rapist.

Long sigh. Sometimes you just wonder what goes through some people’s mind…

Beyonce Announces 10-Episode Series, BEYONCE: X10

As if we couldn’t go another day without Beyonce (yawn) the “Partition” singer is coming to an HBO screen near you!  HBO announced “BEYONCE: X10,” a 10-episode series that that will air at 8:55pm, five-minutes before each episode of “True Blood” that will showcase performances from the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

This isn’t Bey’s first venture with HBO, you guys remember her “Life Is But A Dream” documentary that was so real it hurt (insert sarcasm)?
