(Washington, DC) — The principal at Wilson High school in DC has said he’ll ask his students about the idea of banning Washington Redskins clothing. Pete Cahall says a student approached him with the idea to not let kids wear the clothing because some Native Americans find the team name offensive. He says he’ll talk with student council officers and representatives soon to get their take on the idea. Last week, Redskins owner Dan Snyder penned a letter to season ticket holders defending the Redskins name, calling it a “badge of honor.”
